UAE Red Crescent Society Launches Distribution Of School Aid In Broom District In Hadramout

Last Sunday morning UAE Red Crescent Society Launched distributing bags and tools included a variety of school chairs and tables with the installation of modern whiteboard in number of schools in Brom Mayfa district in the coastal areas of Hadramout.

At the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by the supervisors of the Red Crescent society in Hadramout and a number of officials in the province and directorate; it was distributed 800 school bags included a number of miscellaneous school supplies, along with the distribution of a number of modern writing tables, chairs and school boards.

This project comes within the framework of the UAE Red Crescent Society efforts to ease the burden of families in need who affected by the situation experienced by the country as well as to encourage students for diligence and perseverance and to continue their education.

During the inauguration general director of Brom Mayfa District, Salah Albas, praised the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the UAE Red Crescent and its contribution to support educational projects in the coastal areas of Hadramout. He stressed their keenness to overcome all difficulties and to provide all possible facilities to improve the school situation and environment .He pointed out that this charity project serves students and their parents .

For his part, Mr. Mattar Al Ketbi, the Chairman of Emirates Team relief in Hadramout, confirmed that the society was keen to distribute the aid to coincide with the start of the school year to relieve the suffering of the students, which will help ease the burden on parents and motivate students to achieve the advanced ranks in their educational attainment. He added that the inauguration day in Broom Mayfa’a directorate comes within society’s efforts for the completion of infrastructure projects in the educational side and in the framework of an intensive program includes a number of schools in the coastal areas of Hadramout.

Accordingly the director of Education directorate, Muslim Alshamasy, expressed his delight at the efforts of the UAE Red Crescent to the education sector and for other aspects. He also thanked humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the UAE towards their brothers in Yemen.

Furthermore the UAE Red Crescent Society team continues daily field tours around Mukalla schools of coastal areas in Hadramout, to distribute school supplies to students in the campaign launched by the current early October.
