The UAE Red Crescent Society continues awareness campaign, which was launched within the program which targets Aden schools for awareness by students, teachers, and parents to familiarize them with cholera and ways and means of prevention. In addition to what students receive from a culture about personal hygiene and cleanliness of their surroundings.
The campaign also aims to raise environmental awareness among students of the importance of preserving the environment and the definition of threats and problems to it, to realize the methods to ensure maintain it and working to find appropriate solutions, aimed at maintaining the students from all forms of pollution and hazards.
The campaign reached, which began in the present month, in one of the schools of Braiga Directorate through the school of Abu Harba for Girls in Abu Harba zone to the Amran School in Amran area to continue its approach of awareness in the rest of the schools where the team distributed school bags, notebooks and supplies included dozens of chairs and awareness brochures.
The team also established a Friends Club of the school environment, which aims to urge the students to keep the school environment, health and education where it is competing for its application across the tread which has the awareness among the team focused on the displaced people with distributions of school supplies and promised to tackle school uniforms for displaced students. The campaign will continue spreading the awareness of health that are supported by the UAE Red Crescent in the schools of the province of Aden in cooperation with the Friends of the Environment Club, which will in turn in the follow-up and continuation of health education campaign in school and maintain a clean and free students from microbes and epidemics surroundings.
