Last Tuesday morning, the governor of Hadramout province, Major General / Ahmed Saeed Bin Break signed an agreement with the Sampson company to buy electric power station with a capacity of ’20 Miqa’ at a cost of 10,690800 dollars for the city of Shaher.
It is worth mentioning that the generator-powered diesel handover key system.
It is expected to enter service in July.
The agreement also includes with Sampson company, that run by Yahya Adulrahman Bajersh, all electrical and mechanical accessories and civil works as well as the provision of spare parts for two years with the technical warranty of single year.
At the signing ceremony the Governor Bin Break said “our signature today on the purchase of the power plant agreement comes from the keenness of the local authority of the public services required by the citizen and the sensing of us for the size of the suffering that haunt the citizens”. He added that the station will cover Shaher Directorate and its suburbs and will have a major and significant impact in alleviating the load on the main Rayyan station which will reflect positively on the stability of the power supply in Mukalla and its suburbs.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director Coastal Hadramout Electricity, Engineer Mana’ Bin Yamain and the counselor of the Governor for electricity and Energy Engineer and Salem Bahakeem and Anwar Aljaidi the Director of Finance Office in the coastal Hadramout.
