Within the framework of the Transitional Council’s plan and its vision to strengthen its position and presence in the international arena, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Russian capital, Moscow, on an official visit that lasts for several days, based on an official invitation received by the council’s leadership from the Russian federal government to discuss several matters and issues in the south, and Yemen in general.
According to senior sources in the Southern Transitional Council, the visit will focus on a meeting of a number of officials in the Russian government, the Senate and representatives (the Duma), in addition to an agenda and meetings with several Russian institutions of a specialized and administrative nature to exchange ideas and visions, and the same source confirmed that the visit will discuss several issues, the most important of which is stability in the south. And ways to combat terrorism and strengthen it with the Russian side in a way that meets the aspirations of the southern people and their struggle project since the start of the southern revolution.
The media milieu of the Brotherhood and their kitchens prevailed in a state of hysteria and resentment towards this historic visit by the leadership of the Transitional Council, and southerners deplored the situation in which the Reform Party and their tools in the south lived after they were disappointed with the expansion of the Southern Transitional Council and its presence on the international scene in a way that makes it a legitimate representative of the people of the South and a thorn In the face of all the conspiracies and projects promoted by the Brotherhood in the south.
It is worth noting that the delegation accompanying President Al-Zubaidi is composed of members of the Presidency of the Council, Major General Ahmed bin Buraik, President of the National Assembly, Ahmed Lamlas, Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Governor of the capital, Aden, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and Ali Al-Kathiri, Deputy Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, the official spokesman of the Council, Amr al-Bayadh is a member of the Presidency, Muhammad al-Ghaithi, Deputy Head of the General Administration of Foreign Affairs, and Anis al-Sharafi, a member of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.
