POPULAR CELEBRATION IN HADARMOUT CELEBRATING OF THE EMIRATES MARTYR’s DAY

The governorate of Hadramout, in its major cities, Al-Mukalla, Al-Shahr, and Gail Bawazir, witnessed festive and carnival events celebrating the Emirati martyr’s day, the 49th national day of the United Arab Emirates, which comes every year.

Among the participants in the celebrations was the popular campaign to thank the UAE in the governorate of Hadramout, the campaigners erected a number of giant thank panels in the city of Mukalla, the capital of the governorate, and raised the flags of the UAE and hung banners containing expressions of thanks and gratitude to the UAE at the checkpoints; The head of the campaign, journalist Mohamed Abdullah Bouiran, announced to the media about a documentary film that will be shown on television screens during the next two days that narrates the details of the battle to liberate the coast of Hadramout “April 24, 2016” from the clutches of terrorist organizations, and the great role and sacrifices made by the UAE for the sake of Hadramout before, during and after the battle release.

Khor al-Mukalla Square in the capital of the governorate also hosted a carnival, artistic and heritage ceremony with the participation of a large number of popular, artistic and heritage festivals, in which paintings and performances were presented that won the approval of all from the audience who filled the square to express the participation of the Emirates in all national events and to strengthen the bonds of blood, brotherhood and renewed loyalty between the two peoples.

The bronze band in the coast of Hadramout, the Navigator Bataia band with the protector of the popular games, the Sawai band, the Al-Jazirah talents troupe, the Broum youth band, the Al-Nawakhid troupe, and the workers’ group with the old foil participated in the celebrations, and the ceremony was mixed with the Hadrami and Emirati colors to express brotherhood and loyalty. For the sons of Zayed.

The city of Shahr also witnessed an artistic and heritage event in the public square, in which wonderful artistic and heritage performances were presented that were well received by the attendees, and the Gail Bawazir Directorate also witnessed carnival celebrations in which the folk and heritage groups participated and provided loyal content to the United Arab Emirates.

In brief statements to a number of citizens who attended the events expressing their thanks and gratitude to the UAE, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, sponsor of the renewed giving of Hadramout, who embodied in the standing of the Emirates of Goodness with Hadramout on land and people through support in various security, service, relief and medical fields, leading to the participation of the army “the Hadrami elite”, the process of liberating the coast of Hadramout, to embody on the ground the sacrifices made by the United Arab Emirates.
