Last Wednesday the League football championship has started in Socotra archipelago province for local sport clubs which supported by Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation, with the participation of 11 teams.
In the inaugural event the President of the Football Association Branch Ahmed Hzum assured the participating teams on the importance of active participation in the league and exploitation in the discovery of new talents in the game of football to work on fine-tuning and attention estimating the support Khalifa Foundation and its earnest desire to revitalize the sports movement in the province through continued support for the establishment of the various leagues and sports and youth activities in the archipelago.
The championship match had been opened which brought together Radfan and Almyna teams, which ended in a draw positive 1/1. Also Al-Aain and Al-taleeah will play on Wednesday.
Furthermore the participation in this League football championship is planned by teams of (Almyna-Radfan-Al-taleeah-Alain-Alwada-Al-jazeerah-Asharg-Dam Al-Akhwain-Aljamhoor-Al-Ahly-Nojed).
