A JOURNALIST FROM SHABWA GOVERNORATE REVEALS HIS THREAT OF ARREST BY THE BROTHERHOOD MILITIA

In continuation of the arbitrary arrests and practices of the Brotherhood’s Reform Party militia in Shabwa governorate, journalist Saleh Mabrouk Hakrous revealed that he had received arrest threats by the militias occupying Shabwa governorate under the pretext of silencing the voice of the media and activists who rejected the practices practiced by these militias.

Journalist Hakrous published in his account on social networking sites that he is staying for a whole month in his home under house arrest and cannot enter the governorate capital. .

Noting that two days ago, he risked his life and entered the capital, freeing himself in order to meet the Western media delegation, to give them a complete picture of the abuse and restriction of the freedoms of opinion that activists and journalists were subjected to after the governorate was occupied by the Brotherhood militia,
He explained that he bears the full responsibility of his life for both the called Ahmed Mohsen Abboud, head of the Islah party in Shabwa governorate, as well as Muhammad Saleh bin Adiu, governor of Shabwa governorate and Abderba Lak’ab, commander of the special forces in Shabwa governorate, calling on organizations and the international community to put an end to these violations against the people of Shabwa governorate.
