Coinciding with the military escalation by the militia of the Brotherhood Reform Party and its violation of the Riyadh Agreement on the Abyan front, the Southern Resistance Command in the Sabiha region called for an urgent and exceptional meeting to stop the developments and the Brotherhood escalation on the fighting fronts in the Abyan governorate, the latest of which was the violation of the Riyadh Agreement and the targeting of the southern army and populated places in the area of Shaqra, between the two parties according to the Riyadh Agreement.
The Commander of the Southern Resistance, head of the tribal council, Sheikh Ahmed Ali Khader, in the border area of Sabiha with the north, called on all resistance leaders to attend the extraordinary meeting next Sunday in the Khor al-Amira coastal area, explaining that the meeting was coordinated with the leadership of the Transitional Council in the directorate to take decisive decisions about the situation in the south and what is going on in the governorate, and not to remain silent on the Brotherhood escalation. Pointing out that the meeting will strengthen the fighting fronts in Abyan governorate and that they will be provided with the necessary measures to confront the Brotherhood’s invasion of the south.
In the same context, Brigadier General Waddah Omar Saeed al-Subaihi, commander of the Security Belt Forces in Sabiha, affirmed that the Brotherhood is trying to delude their forces with fake victories in Abyan Governorate, in an attempt to raise their morale that collapsed in front of the steadfastness of the southern forces, noting that the southern forces are still in a state of defense and have not started the attack, And that the coming days will be decisive for everyone who thinks about invading and occupying the south again.
