Last Sunday morning the distribution diverse school aid of a number of classroom boards, chairs, tables has been launched around Addees Ashargya schools by the UAE Red Crescent Society in the coastal region of Hadramout.
A delegation from the UAE Red Crescent Society was headed by the supervisor Shawki Al-Tamimi along with the Chairman of the supreme committee for relief and reconstruction Riadh Bin Taleb Al-Kathiri and Director General of the Directorate of the Eastern Dees Abdullah Al-Tamimi the director of education office Mohamed Awad Ashnainy and a number of officials had a visit to a number of schools in the directorat; such as (Balqees basic school, Omar Bin Abdul Aziz school and Abu Baker School) as part of the society which designed to ease the burden of families in need and affected by the previous conditions experienced by the country, as well as efforts to encourage students in the diligence, perseverance and to continue their education.
During the launching ceremony, Mr. Al-tamimi emphasized the UAE interest to improve the education process to contribute developing and supporting the poor families to provide them with their children needs to be able to go on in learning.
He added that the campaign in going to reach to all targeted districts of coastal Hadhramout. It targeted the needy and poor families’ pupils. He pointed out that the campaign also comes by the efforts of UAE Red Crescent to encourage and motivate in learning and to reduce their families’ burden according to the rise of school materials prices.
He said that the UAE’s Crescent team will continue to carry out field tours around schools in the districts of Hadramout coast to oversee the distribution of bags and school supplies to the beneficiaries process.
For his part, the General Director of the Directorate of Addes Ashargia, Abdullah Al-Tamimi, expressed his happiness with the visit of the UAE Red Crescent and its Supreme Committee for Relief to the area to launch this project, which aims to provide a social service aimed at easing the burden on the insolvent from the provision of educational needs in the educational aspect of families, valuing at the same time their efforts in providing the infrastructure requirements for the educational projects and the provision of tables and chairs for school classrooms.
The Chairman of the High Committee for Relief and Reconstruction Riadh Bin Taleb Al-Kathiri, thanks to the efforts of the UAE Red Crescent Society and the local authority for this school aid distribution to school students. He stressed the importance of distribution project of diverse school aid, which would relieve the students with some financial obligations.
The launching ceremomy was attended by the community senior, Sheikh Obaid Bin Kardous Al-Tamimi.
