The city of Mukalla hosted a historic and articulation meeting of Hadhramaut’s military leaders, politicians, tribal components, civil society organizations and all sectors in the Hood conference hall in order to take detailed decisions that concern Hadramout after the suffering that Hadramout all over the past period and since its liberation from terrorist organizations, which is the stage that was formed for Hadramout and made it extend its full sovereignty the land and the decision after it was hostage to the forces that occupy it.
The meeting to which the Governor Al-Bahsani called for the citizens’ needs and the governorate’s entitlements and meeting the desires of all segments of society for legitimate demands as a red line and national security for Hadramout, its stability and development, and in a historical position, the Governor Al-Bahsani declared during the expanded meeting to stop the export of oil from Al-Masila and Dhabba fields starting from October 01, next month, in the event that the so-called legitimate government in which the Brotherhood seizes the decision and practices follies and discrimination against Hadramawt and the southern governorates does not respond.
During the meeting, the Governor of Al-Bahsani praised this cohesion and quick response from all Hadrami forces and personalities, calling on the competent authorities to legitimize the view of Hadramout and give them full rights, especially in the electricity sector, which burdened the priest of the Hadrami citizen and made him suffer in light of Hadramout providing the state treasury with more than 70% of the general budget, and indicated Governor Al-Bahsani said that Hadramout’s demands are the government’s commitment to pay the value of the purchased energy, as well as the government’s commitment to providing spare parts and oils for the maintenance of state power stations, most of which are out of readiness due to the inability of the Public Electricity Corporation to provide the maintenance requirements, and the government’s obligation to establish a 100-megapixel power plant that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi directed it, but it was a façade that was obstructed by brotherly forces that did not want Hadramout any rights or place.
The meeting ended with a number of speeches delivered by the leaders, sheikhs and a number of community components leaders, in which they affirmed their alignment behind the decisions of the Hadrami authority and its leadership with the local authority, confirming that Hadramout will stand firmly about the points and deadlines that have been set and given to the legitimate government unless it fulfills its promises, and in the same context the media center prevailed. Social networking sites are a state of relief for the historical decisions, announcing that they will stand united behind them and support them so that Hadramout can obtain all of its rights.
