The UAE continues to provide free medical care to residents of remote villages in various regions of the Hadramout governorate, through mobile medical clinics run by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
The mobile clinics are part of the UAE’s humanitarian role to alleviate the suffering of the population in these areas.
The field medical team – defying the obstacles and hardship of movement to reach remote villages – conducted examinations for 105 patients in the Adad region in the Mukalla countryside directorate and provided primary health care and free treatments, in addition to providing health advice and guidance by distributing educational brochures.
The beneficiaries appreciated the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in delivering diagnostic and curative medical services to these remote areas, expressing their happiness with this visit.
The “mobile clinics” project comes to alleviate the suffering of the population in remote areas where hospitals or medical centers are not available. The medical clinic’s mission was focused on inspecting and diagnosing cases, as some severe malnutrition cases and various diseases were discovered and treated for free.
