Last Thursday morning UAE Red Crescent Society distributed food aid to a
group of employees and teachers of literacy office in Mukalla Directorate, who lived a difficult economic situation due to recent circumstances experienced by the country.
The UAE Crescent intervened in order to alleviate their suffering , to seek their business , strive to improve their living conditions and provide them with the basic needs of food. It contains expulsion food per 25 kilograms of rice, like sugar, flour and six bottles of oil. It meets the expulsions per medium family needs issue for a month.
The workers and teachers of the literacy office received food baskets, smiling broadly with great joy on this humanitarian gift. They praised the UAE government and people for such efforts being made in the ongoing relief operation for Hadrami people.
UAE Red Crescent projects supervisor in Hadramout, Shawqi Al-Tamimi said that this aid comes within the context of the efforts made by the UAE in the field of charitable and humanitarian work and its commitment to alleviate the suffering caused by the lack of food for the citizens. He stressed that these conditions requires the concerted efforts of all humanity to reduce the suffering of those affected and to improve their situation and to draw attention to the critical conditions.
