Last Thursday morning, the general director of Abyan’s electricity, engineer Ahmed Ali Deha inaugurated the first phase of the new electric power station in Ja’ar which provided by the UAE. The inauguration was attended by the officials of the general establishment of Electricity in Abyan.
At the inauguration ceremony Mr. said ” you know that the power supply has been cut on Abyan province for almost a year and a half because of the war. Furthermore, he thanked Emirati Red Crescent’s efforts in the promotion of the electricity sector in the province and improve the services provided to citizens. He stressed that the ongoing efforts to normalize the situation and bring such life which people lived years of deprivation of basic services, especially the electricity.
Consequently, the citizens expressed their thanks to the tireless efforts of the UAE in providing services to the province which has suffered a lot during the long years of war they lived and it contributed to the destruction of all vital installations such as electricity.
