The Brotherhood’s Islah militia, the armed wing of the Brotherhood’s global arm, continues to practice arrogance and forced arbitrariness against citizens of the richly resourced Shabwa governorate, which was occupied by the aggressive Reform Party (Islah ) militia several months ago with terrorist elements coming from Al-Jawf governorate and Marib the Brotherhood’s stronghold and the focus of terrorist attacks in the southern governorates.
Private sources from the Dhahra region in Jardan, where the Islah party militia is stationed and exercising a suffocating siege against its people, reported clashes between tribesmen in the region and the Islah party militias led by the called Laka’ab, one of the tails of these militias, which lasted for several hours, from which these militias fled after the reaction of the people and the fierce resistance to protect women, children and the elderly, who are worried about the folly of these militias and the violation of the sanctity of homes above their residents without regard to the customs and traditions of Shabwa Governorate.
The same sources indicated that the militias of the brotherhood and its arsenal armed with the state’s plundered weapon from the Marib camps have raided the homes of a number of the Jardan area and arrested a number of youth and opponents of the existence of these militias and forcibly hidden them in the secret prisons in Ma’rib Governorate without any legal justification and in violation of all laws related to human rights, and freedom of opinion.
Human rights organizations and activists have denounced these ethical actions practiced by the militias of the Reform Party (Islah) in the Shabwa governorate and in cooperation by their clients in the governorate in a position that described its goal as subjugating the province to these militias and as revenge from the south and its people.These organizations and jurists appealed to the international community to take urgent action to stop these practices against the citizens of Shabwa and to classify these militias as a terrorist organization.
