Last Saturday morning the protesting residents of Alinshat Zone in Mukalla demanded the province authorities to complete the educational complex building that has been based since 2005 for the students of Alinshat district. The parents expressed about their children suffering and the costs of private schools for tuition fees and transportation.
The residents of the neighborhood said that the vigil message to the concerned authorities of official and all civil society organizations. They appealed to UAE Red Crescent to intervene to resolve the case as soon as possible. It noted that the number of population in the region has been growing annually and a statement has been issued earlier demanding for urgent work to complete the building.
The Vigil was attended by the General Director of Mukalla Directorate, Dr. Abdul Baqi Alhuthrey who said in his speech at the vigil: “We will work hard to meet the contractor and the local authority and the Department of Education to find a solution to maintain the troubled property. “We will communicate with the governor and, Allah willing, next year the complex at full readiness. “We will also work to find solutions to all the stalled projects in the district in general. Alhuthrey demanded locals to lift of an official statement in the next few days.
