Dr. Ishraq al-Sibai, Undersecretary of the health ministry, said the support of the UAE Red Crescent for the health sector in the liberated governorates and the governorates under the control of Al-Houthi’s coupist militia is generous and continuous support from Mukalla to Sayoun and continued support of the western coast of Aden, Abyan, Taiz and Al-Dhalia, thanking the United Arab Emirates for this continued support.
Dr. Ashraq al-Sibai added that the first support came from the UAE to combat cholera, support for dengue patients, and eradication programs. She added that UAE support continues through the immediate and rapid intervention of rainwater and floods, in Hadramout and Shabwa, and the UAE has played a major role in supporting the health sector, whether by providing solutions, or by providing medical trucks.
