With the support of the United Arab Emirates, during the first ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, the UAE Red Crescent teams distributed 500,000 loaves of bread to 25,000 poor and needy families in the districts of Dhubab, Mukha, Tahita, Hayes, West of Yemen. The representative of the UAE Red Crescent, in the West Coast, said that these distributions of bread to the needy and affected people of the West Coast comes within the framework of the initiative of ” Ramadan Food” launched by the UAE at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, under the guidance of the wise leadership of the State, Yemen. He added that in order to ensure the success of the distribution of bread bread to the Yemeni families in the directorates of the West Coast, the UAE has supported 12 bakery in the coast to produce one million and 500 thousand loaves of bread during the month of Ramadan, benefiting more than 750 thousand people.
Beneficiaries citizens expressed their thanks and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for this brotherly and humanitarian initiative, which helped them to provide their basic needs of bread. The initiative includes the distribution of 20 thousand basket of integrated food, in the West Coast, benefiting more than 120 thousand people, in order to alleviate their suffering and improve their living conditions, because of the difficult situation in Yemen.
