The United Arab Emirates, through its humanitarian arm the UAE Red Crescent, has provided many food and relief assistance to the people of the West Coast.
The aid, estimated at 170,000 integrated food baskets, has benefited more than 1.2 million people living in more than 140 areas and villages along the West Coast over the past 10 months.
The UAE Red Crescent Society said that the diversity of UAE projects at the humanitarian, service and development levels and the continuation of relief and food convoys to the people of the West Coast is aimed at relieving the burden of the citizens and alleviating the difficult conditions experienced by citizens.
Expressed their thanks to the UAE and the UAE Red Crescent, describing the situation in the region before the intervention of the brothers in disaster, noting that the support and relief assistance and food provided by the Commission, played a large role in the normalization of conditions in the liberated areas.
In a related context, the UAE Red Crescent Authority is preparing to carry out the generous donation made by the wife of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for a “fasting breakfast” project in several regions in the country, benefiting 90,000 citizens.
