The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent Authority distributed on Saturday new batches of food aid, by distribution of 1300 food baskets (104 tons and 910 kg) targeting 6,500 needy and affected families from Wadi Youb’th, Hadramout, within the framework of the Commission’s project of humanitarian support to normalize life for families suffering from difficult economic conditions.
The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE after this humanitarian gesture, which alleviated the suffering of their families and the difficult circumstances they live in. They are grateful to the Red Crescent for their assistance in relieving them of daily life.
For their part, the officials at the Directorate of Youb’th praised the role of the UAE Red Crescent and its team on the ground, which is exerting great efforts to reach needy groups in various areas in Hadramout.
The number of baskets of food distributed since the beginning of the year 2019 tolerance amounted to 6402 food baskets targeted 32010 individuals from needy families and affected in the province of Hadramout, the rate of 516 tons and 641.4 Kg.
