The Emirates Crescent Authority continues its humanitarian efforts in delivering food aid to the people of Hajar district in Hadramout Governorate for those who suffer from very difficult economic conditions. This is in line with the year of tolerance launched by the Commission to improve their living conditions and a sense of the moral and humanitarian duty committed by the United Arab Emirates Provide humanitarian support to families in need and affected.
In this regard, the distribution teams of the Authority targeted several areas and remote villages, including the Joual area of Hajar district, where 1000 food baskets were distributed targeting 5,000 needy and poor families, at an average of 80 tons and 700 kg.
The distribution of this aid was a relief among the citizens who indicated that the project and its assistance provided them with the food they needed and their needs, and praised the honor of the United Arab Emirates and its charitable and humanitarian work to raise the suffering and deprivation of those in need.
The Director General of Hajar thanked the efforts of the United Arab Emirates and the UAE Red Crescent in running the humanitarian convoys to the province, pointing out that these great efforts by the Commission will continue to be engraved in the hearts of many people of this city, pointing out that the UAE Crescent has proved its efficiency and ability to distribute relief In the most difficult circumstances by providing an integrated crew working on the ground not only in Hadramout but at the level of the country in general.
The number of food baskets distributed since the beginning of the year 2019 of tolerance amounted to 4400 food basket targeted 22000 needy and affected families in the province of Hadramout, the rate of 355 tons and 80 kg.
