The engineering forces of the Arab coalition, continues in demining operations that were planted by Houthi militias in civilian facilities, roads and agricultural land in the liberated areas in the west coast of Yemen.
One of the UAE Armed Forces elements, said the Arab coalition forces in the west coast work on removing the mines planted by militias of the Houthi deliberately in roads, schools and civilian facilities in order to inflict harm and loss of civilians in a clear violation of international humanitarian law .
Another element in the engineering team of the UAE Armed Forces, explained that mines and IEDs are removed disposed of in far locations from residential areas after confirming the requirements of security and safety.
One of engineering element of the Sudanese troops, confirmed the Houthis militia aimed through the laying of Mines to cause the greatest damage in civilian property and depriving them of the use of the agricultural lands, where the forces of the Arab coalition working today on restoring normal life to the civilians through disarmament of those mines which hinder their movements and destroyed their property.
Mentioned that the militia of the Houthi-affiliated Iran used single mines supplier and multiple purposes and objectives, including explosive devices with radios, some coming directly from Iran and others developed by experts of the Iranians in Yemen, where they take the forms of images over different matching to the nature of the ground and the place where they are grown which leads to difficult detect and distinguishable from its surroundings where left that militia, large quantities of Mines randomly in residential areas and in Yemenis houses, in the streets and entrances to cities and farms.
