The UAE Red Crescent Society has sent a new aid convoy to the newly liberated areas of the western coast loaded with 200 tons of foodstuffs as part of its humanitarian efforts to meet the needs of Yemeni families and alleviate their suffering as a result of the war.
The convoy, which includes food baskets and basic commodities, is benefiting more than 35,000 Yemeni citizens, mostly children and women.
The UAE Red Crescent Society is accompanying the liberation operations with great humanitarian efforts to meet the needs of the Yemeni families. This reflects the great care that the UAE takes to alleviate the suffering of the people and provide them with a decent way of living and helping them to normalize the situation.
The convoy is a continuation of the humanitarian and relief efforts of the UAE as part of a strategic plan to support the newly liberated cities and districts of Yemen and provide relief humanitarian assistance and stand by the brotherly Yemeni people to alleviate the difficult conditions they are experiencing in.
