The Governor of Hadramout, Commander of the Second Military Region, Maj. Gen. Faraj Salemin Al-Bahsani, discussed today with the UAE Red Crescent Society headed by Mr. Mohammed Al Shamsi the final presentation for the completion and delivery of the Sheikh Khalifa Residential City in Fwa Al-Mukalla area for those affected by rain and floods in 2008.
The governor stressed the importance of expediting the completion of the city and handing over to its beneficiaries as soon as possible. He also linked the internal network of sewers to the city’s houses with funding from the local authority in the governorate.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Directorate of Mukalla city Awad bin Hamel, Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation Eng. Wahib Ghanem and the Technical Director of the Local Authority in Makkah, Eng. Saleh Al Omari, Director of Reconstruction Fund in Mukalla Faiza Bin Thabit and Red Crescent Representative in Hadramout Shawki Al Tamimi.
