The Ministers council in the United Arab of Emirates issued statement about the military operation to liberate the port and Hodeidah city from houthi armed militia, which implemented by the resistance joint forces backed and support from the coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia .
The statement published by the UAE agency, (Wam), confirmed that the UAE Armed Forces in framework of the Arab Alliance and the legitimate government of Yemen request, initiated a liberation process of Hodeidah city and its port from the illegal control of the houthi militias.
The statement added that this process is based on the demands of the legitimate government of Yemen and relevant to the Security Council resolutions, which is dedicated of the legal intervene, adding that aim to put an end of aggressive practices of the houthi militia to achieve the stability of Yemen and the sibling people.
The statement added, “as it aims to eliminate the practice of arbitrary for the militia in determining the direction of humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people as well as Elimination of the weapons Smuggling, which led to war prolongation in Yemen, as well as promotion of a political solution to the crisis of Yemen by changing the reality on the ground”.
The statement renewed of reaffirms the support of the United Arab of Emirates for the United Nations efforts in this context and its fully commitment of international law rules and international humanitarian law .. stating that they’ve taken measures to ensure control of any risk that may result from these processes through what is given to the coalition leadership of importance and priority of the humanitarian sphere as it put all the necessary plans to address what might be temporarily raised of the liberation Hodeidah’s port.
The statement emphasized that the UAE in the framework of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia is seeking to restore stability and security to Yemen and its people. praising the occasion in valiantly and efficiency of our armed forces in management of this noble task in support legitimacy in Yemen in contribute of foundations laying the stability in the region.
