The UAE Red Crescent launched in Province of the archipelago Socotra distribution of Ramadan food aid project, for Qalansiyah people.
The project aims, which benefited 1,200 families to relieve the archipelago sons suffering , especially orphan families, and poor and the limited income in food purchasing during this holy month .
At the inauguration, which was in Gulansiyah center and a number of areas, islands following it, attended by the Secretary General of Qulansiyah Professor / Issa Saeed, the Secretary General of Qulansiyah priced the brothers efforts in the UAE for their continuous support and generous to Socotra and her sons in various fields and actively contribute in improvement of their lives to better .
He noted that the efforts of the siblings in Emirates are clear in Socotra, and no one deny it, because it touched the most important sectors needed by the people in their daily lives .
From his part, the delegate of the UAE Red Crescent H. E. Khalfan Al-mazrouei, confirmed that this project comes within the framework of the UAE Red Crescent efforts in support the Yemen sons in general and Socotra in particular, and relieve the burden of them, by providing the food requirements in this holy month of Ramadan .
Pointing that the UAE continuing in its humanitarian giving and development in Scotra it is a message provided by the UAE to its brothers in this exceptional circumstances, which they passes in it.
