The UAE Red Crescent launched, the project of well drilling of Lawder in framework of the great philanthropic role played by the United Arab of Emirates to respond to the population of Lawder dist. as a result of the scarcity of water and lack of government projects .
It has been putted cornerstone by the under the province of Abyan Abdulaziz al-Hamza and delegate of UAE red crescent, Naser Al-maiseri, Eng. Saleh Belaidi Director General of the general establishment of water and Mr. Mohsen Dovan, general manager for rural water projects; and the Delegation accompanying them .
They were greeted by Professor Jihad hafeez Advisor to the Director General of the Directorate lawder, and Mr. Ahmed Qasim Al-Mansouri, member of the local council / Lawder, Al-khadher Hafid Director of financial officer, Ibrahim Al-ameeri Director of Lawder’s waters, and the National Committee members Nabil Al-mansoori and Salem Al-junaidi and Project Manager Nasser-Omar and Mohammed Al-dhuraibi.
During the inauguration the delegate of the UAE crescent Naser Al-maisari, assured that there are a number of projects that will be implemented many of the requirements that come from a multiple areas in the directorates of the Governorate of Abyan .
On his part, Mr. Jihad Hafeez expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE Red Crescent and the governor of the Abyan general Abubakar Hussein, who promised to this project since taking office in 2017.
Saleh Belaidi spoke to different media, that there are stages in implementation of this strategic project funded by the UAE Red Crescent in the province of Abyan .
For their part, the residents of Lawder city expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE crescent on all of their efforts in implementation of vital projects to alleviate the suffering of the citizens in the Governorate of Abyan .
It is worth mentioning that the governor of Abyan, Major General Abubakar Hussein has made great efforts in coordination with the UAE Red Crescent to implement the projects of rural water, including this strategic project which serves this city that its population of more than five thousands of households and over 25,000 people .
