The forces of the resistance achieved accelerated wins in the past few days on the west coast, thanks to the support of the Arab coalition, and to the supervision of the UAE Armed Forces on battles on this front, where the resistance, with attribution of the coalition forces, to approach of Taiz to liberate it,
Despite heavy reinforcements by the houthis in the area, and a vast amount of mines that they planted, knowing the importance of this region, however, their defenses are worn out under the blows of the Alliance air, and the resistance on the earth.
These accelerated victories achieved by the resistance and the coalition forces, came after great efforts, made by the UAE during its participation in the Arab coalition to restore the legitimacy, three years ago.
A pivotal role:
The process of legitimacy restoring started from the capital Aden, having been to the UAE a very important role in field participation on the ground, to the side of the south resistance forces, where the first unit of the UAE Armed Forces arrived in mid-May 2015, clashed with the militia of the houthis near the airport of Aden.
Then the UAE troops contributed, effectively in rehabilitation and training of the south resistance elements, and then arming them, for the battles of liberation the southern provinces of Aden, Lahej, Abyan, and in less than a month, the Aden city liberated in July 2015.
Operations expand, after the resistance forces tightened control over the capital of Aden, troops move towards the area of Bab Al-mandab and the island of Miyun, at the end of 2015, plans to prepare for another battle, aiming to secure the entire west coast, and restore port functions controlled by the militia and used to smuggle weapons.
So, the forces of the UAE located in the capital Aden, made the efforts to rehabilitate elements of resistance training during the past period, the main first tasks, is insurance of Aden and neighboring provinces, and then start the second phase, which is liberate the west coast, and secure international waters.
During a short period, the army and security forces, under the supervision and support by the UAE, ending the first phase, securing of Aden and neighboring provinces, qualification and training of resistance elements, to be a national army system, move to the third stage, liberate the rest of the provinces still under the control of the putschists, and move towards the most important of these sites in the west coast, its importance in securing international waters, stop the houthis supplying of weapons and derivatives-oil.
Not only the role of the Emirates train and qualify the elements of the resistance, it was their soldiers south in advance of front line, next to the National Army and resistance, fighting the battles of the restoration of the west coast and fired the Putschists.
