A senior leader in the popular resistance of Yemen, was killed, late on Wednesday evening, with five of his companions, by the explosion in an attack targeted his car in the province of Hodeida.
A military source said that “the leader of Tahami resistance (volunteers from the provinces of the Tehama territory) in front of the west coast, Hassan Duballah , had been killed; of an explosive device planted by unknown persons, during the passage of his car between Haies and Al-khookha area” under the Yemeni army and popular resistance control, east of Hodeida.
He added that the “5 of Duballa’s colleagues were also killed in the crash, others were injured with various injuries were taken to one of the nearby hospitals”.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack until 23:20 GMT.
Hassan Duballa, is the leader of Tehami resistance for the Yemeni legitimacy, which is in fierce battles in front of the western coast with the national army against the houthis.
