UAE Red Crescent-Funded Project to Create a Secondary School in Al-Huta City in Governorate of Shabwah, Yemen.

The Red Crescent authority signed an agreement for construction and erection of secondary school building area of Huta and its environs at Directorate of Maefah in Shabwah province of Yemen, in a continuation of support to the education sector in the province.

Mohammed Saif Al- muhairi, a representative of UAE crescent authority in governorate of Shabwah ,the Commission keenness in implementation of infrastructure projects in the education sector due to its importance in the construction of the human mind and the advancement of the cultures and peoples to create a generation armed with pride and knowledge.

He said that the support of the UAE to the people of Yemen comes within the humanitarian allegation put by the support of the Yemeni liberated provinces , including the province of Shabwah and rehabilitation of infrastructure in Yemen, to contribute in overcoming difficult living conditions experienced by the country caused by the militia of Houthi coup.

He added that the city of Huta is one of the cities with a large population density in the province and had legacy of a historical and cultural tradition which is now in most need of such a vital project which contributes to ease the burden on the families of the students and will facilitate the completion stages of the scholarships to students whose families have difficulty in providing the costs of daily transport for them.

He stressed that the UAE Red Crescent authority took over the education sector attention extremely in order to contribute in development of the educational process in the Governorate and improve the quality of Education.

From his part, Ali Ahmed Nesa’n the general director deputy of Education Office in the Governorate expressed of profound thanks to UAE and to the UAE leadership, government and people to what they doing and the progress of projects to support infrastructure in the education sector, stressing that this educational project will help in creating a learning environment suitable for Science and knowledge in order to help alleviate the suffering of the students due to the difficulties of transportation, approximately 10 kilometers to reach the nearest school for secondary education in the city of Aza’n.

Ali Nesa’n praised of the UAE Red Crescent authority efforts in implementation of projects designed to improve the education environment in the province through the establishment of rehabilitation and maintenance of educational buildings in Shabwah.
