The UAE Red Crescent has launched the Water Pumping Experimental Project of Zamen field in Foah to the west of Mukalla. This comes in the framework of Emirati constant efforts to provide people with clear and healthy water and within a package of infrastructure projects for Hadramout.
The chief of the UAE Red Crescent Society, Mr. Almasafri has emphasized in a statement that the implement of this project comes in the framework of Emirati constant care for infrastructure projects for Hadramout to alleviate people’s suffering of water shortage and to get them the best services.
Mr. Almasafri addressed that this project will consolidate and increase the quantity of water in Flok Field that is far away about 33Kms as well as to provide the people of East Mukalla and other old districts around with approximately 30% more than what is exists currently which was financed by UAE Red Crescent Society in the past by assigned contract for digging five new wells.
In his part, the General Manager of the Water Cooperation Of Hadramout, waheeb Ghanem has praised the help of Red Crescent Society to finance digging for new water wells in Zamen Field in the west of Mukalla in Foah area to improve the water net system there. He aslo expressed his thanks to UAE State and people in caring to support service and infrastructure projects in Hadramout.
Its worth to be mentioned, that Red Crescent Society has operated five new water wells in Flok Field to the east of Mukalla, as well as it has completed all civil works to link them with the pumps in the framework of its efforts to provide people with clear water within a package of infrastructure projects for Hadramout.
