UAE Red Crescent has continued its support for the liberated areas, where amounts of relief materials were granted to the island of Mayon included a variety of food items.
Sheikh Salem Al-Aini ,one of the notables of the Island, Said that the island need for support in all fields. He praising what he UAE offers of interest to the island through the rebuilding of utilities that were destroyed and looted by the militia of Al-Huthi and the Deposed Saleh during its control over the island, which lies in Red Sea near the bay of Bab Al- Mandeb.
He added that the role played by the United Arab Emirates is clear and obvious through the liberalization of the island from the militia of Al-Huthi and Deposed Saleh and it is currently in the support and recovery of utilities and aid citizens.
