By The directions of Major General / Ahmed Said Bin Break the Governor of Hadramout province and Maj. Gen. / Faraj Salmeen Albahsani commander of the Second Military Region, the the local authority began in coordination with the military and security agencies of the province in Mukalla directorate the formation of committees for community security to contribute to the consolidation and strengthening of security and stability in Mukalla.
The first meeting of the Committee was headed by Dr Abdul Baqi Alhuthrey the Chairman of the Committee and the General Director of Mukalla city, in the presence of representatives of the leadership of the Second Military Region, public security and officials of districts and zones in the directorate.
Many of the topics had been discussed in the meeting which the most important was enhanc the security role to maintain the stability in Mukalla as well as to rehabilitate officials of districts and zones in the directorate to activate the role of the security community at the best way.
The ‘Alwaqa Aljadeed’ Newspaper has been informed by Dr. Abdul Baqi Chairman of the Committee that the purpose of forming and activating the role of the “security community” is to help the security authorities to maintain the stability and security of Mukalla city.
It is known that the community’s role in the security is very important and is considered as one of the basic pillars that contribute to the restoration of security and safety.
Previously it has been neglected for the community’s role in contributing to the security which was regarded only the relationship between the community and the security authorities as a victim’s relationships with the executioner. Therefore, this helped the official authorities in seeking to activate the security community to the new situation and concrete variables by the community in the deployment of security for the contribution through communications about any phenomenon that will create the best for the security.
Where it contributed by the liberalization of Mukalla and stand as one with the military and security in all the raid operations and the discovery of terrorist elements and many other tasks.
Local Authority have confirmed through several meetings with various social figures and zone heads that this step will be good in results on all factions of our society.
