UAE Red Crescent Intensifies Distribution Of Food Baskets In Shabwa

The UAE Red Crescent Society continued the relief and humanitarian work in the province of Shabwa to provide more food aid as a part of its efforts to help families experiencing difficult economic conditions.

The society intensified distribute food baskets to process 1,000 families in the areas of Hura, Jawlat Alarga, alhamya and its suburbs.

The representative of the Red Crescent Society, said that the project came out of concern given by the UAE to help the Yemeni brothers and lend a helping hand to pass the crisis they are experiencing due to the war caused by the coup. He expressed his hope that the aid contributes to alleviate the suffering of the people, pointing out that society intensified its humanitarian efforts to cover different regions of Shabwa. He noted that the distribution process has taken under the techniques that the society follow to ensure the arrival of food aid to beneficiaries.

He pointed out that the distribution of these food baskets is a continuation of the program of humanitarian aid carried out by the society within the relief project for residents of Shabwa as well as to access to remote areas crowded with suffering and pain.

The General Secretary of the local council of Rodoom Directorate Hadi Saeed Al-Kherma estimated the humanitarian work provided by the Red Crescent Society in the distribution of relief aid to the people of Shabwa.

Furthermore, he praised the great efforts made by the society in delivery of relief items to the beneficiaries easily and conveniently, thanking the UAE Red Crescent for its aid. Hadi also pointed out that the Yemenis in Shabwa suffering from difficult and complex economic conditions and they lack the most basic services, calling for the need to mobilize efforts to address the difficult humanitarian situation experienced by the Directorate. He added that the UAE’s prints in Shabwa and various liberated provinces cannot be forgotten, especially as it came in difficult conditions was experienced by the province by the war.

Also the beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE’s aid, which relieves the human suffering when they lost much of the necessities of life as a result of the deteriorating economic situation and income sources that provide them with access to a living. They praised the honor for the UAE and its charitable and humanitarian work to alleviate the suffering up of their shoulders and devoted great efforts with full of tender humanity and spirit that it appreciates and is aware of and understands the value of rights to reflect the transparency and sincerity of intentions in humanitarian work.
