UAE Red Crescent’s Aid Convoy For Almsimeer And Accomplishes 70 % Of Foah’s Well

The UAE Red Crescent Society, guided a relief convoy to Almsimeer Directorate in Lahij province, in the framework of the humanitarian support provided by the United Arab Emirates, to relieve the suffering of their brothers, and loyalty to the values of humanity and authentic maxims to continue charitable and humanitarian efforts carried out to help the people to continue their lives for enhancing security and stability.

 

The society emphasized that the convoy – which carried the 1400 food basket – came out of concern that given by the UAE brothers and lend a helping hand to pass the crisis they are experiencing due to the war triggered by the coup, expressing the hope that the help convoy in alleviating the suffering of the people of the Directorate resulted from the difficult living conditions in which they live.

 

So Waddah Alhalmi, Lahij governor’s assistance, received a transport vehicle provided by the society as a gift to the province, where he gave thanks and appreciation to the UAE government, people and the Red Crescent on each offerings for the southern liberated governorates in General and for the lahij governorate in private.

 

Alhalmi said that Lahij has been largely destroyed in infrastructure during the period of the war launched by Al-Huthi’s militia and Saleh, and now it is in the construction and development phase, despite the scarcity of potential.

 

For his part, the lawyer Abdellah Alrdfani, the relief coordinator in Lahij, talked about the need to governorate for more relief convoys due to the interruption of the employees’ salaries for more than three months and the displacement of the population of Kresh border region and neighboring areas where there are battles between now and then.

 

On the other hand, the UAE Red Crescent Society has announced the completion of 70% of drilling a new artesian well field water operations in Zmen zone, in Foah to the west of Mukalla, , stressing to continue its efforts with (Slimani Foundation) executing company and under the direct supervision of the local cooperation of water and sanitation.

Abdullah Almsafri, the representative of the society in Hadramout, confirmed that the Red Crescent is following excavation work in the well closely, step by step, referring to the care to be completed on time and in the specifications agreed upon in order to alleviate the suffering of the citizens for access to water in the city of Mukalla and its suburbs.

 

The society has operated five new artesian water wells in Flok Area’s field to the east of Mukalla city and completed all civil works and linked them with pumps, as part of its ongoing efforts and tireless efforts to provide clean water to the citizens and within the package of infrastructure projects that it supports in the coastal Hadramout.
