Last Wednesday morning UAE Red Crescent Society Launched its distribution campaign of bags and tools for a number of schools in Wadi Hadhramout, including an estimated 1,000 school bags include stationery tools.
The project which aims at 1000 thousand students from poor and needy families, comes within the interests of the United Arab Emirates to support the educational process which has seen a significant decline due to the events taking place in the country.
The campaign, which launched in a number of schools in Trim city, targeted from the first day Om Al-momaneen ,Aisha and May 22nd Schools for girls. The campaign will continue to reach all areas of the valley and the desert of Hadramout.
During the launching ceremony, the UAE Red Crescent Society’s projects in Wadi Hadramout, engineer Hassan Himd Bagmaish stressed the attention of the United Arab Emirates to improve the educational process and contribute to its development, as well as supporting poor families in providing supplies for their children that they can continue their education.
Mr. Bagmaish added that the campaign will reach all Hadramout valley, where the campaign aims at 1000 students from poor and needy families areas. He noted that the campaign comes in the framework of the UAE Red Crescent Society’s efforts in order to motivate students and ease the burden on their families due to the high school supplies prices.
Sequentially, the UAE Red Crescent team will continue its field tours around schools of targeted directorates in Wadi Hadhramout to directly supervise the distribution process of bags and school supplies to the beneficiaries.
