Governor of Hadramout, Major General Faraj al-Bahsani announced the implementation of a number of projects to enhance the performance of the branch of the oil company in the province, including the construction of two reservoirs with a capacity of 23 thousand tons.
He explained in a seminar organized by the oil company that the studies have been completed and will be in the coming days to download the tender of the project in addition to the construction of a floating berth for ships and tankers capacity of 30 thousand tons, which will increase the movement of ships in the port of Mukalla in addition to the establishment of a special building to manage the facilities of the company.
“The oil company, like other state institutions and because of the conditions that Hadramout lived in and the country is currently living in, faced many problems until it nearly declared bankruptcy.
“A large part of the debts of the company’s branch have been paid off and the rest of the debt will be repaid because the company will supply the power plants with fuel,” he added.
The Director of the branch of the oil company in the coast of Hadramout Dr. Khalid Al-Akbari touched on a number of successes achieved by the company during the past period, primarily the stability of the ration.
