A technical team from the United Nations will arrive in Hodeidah to assist the Joint International Committee to monitor the ceasefire in accordance with the Swedish agreement. The technical team is scheduled to deploy on the lines of contact between the legitimate forces and the Huthi militia to report any violations of the cease-fire agreement in the city of Hodeidah.
The United Nations technical team will arrange for the stabilization and ceasefire functions in the city. The al-Houthi militia has ordered its members to wear central security uniforms and police in conjunction with the arrival of observers in an attempt to circumvent the decision to withdraw from the city.
