The city of Khookha in Hodeidah governorate,witnessed a mass wedding for 200 bride and groom, That comes in a honorable of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al- Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The ceremony was held with participation of director of the humanitarian operations of the UAE in Yemen, Saeed al-Kaabi, members of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, and the governor of the province of Hodeidah Hassan Taher, a number of local officials and the media, in addition to crowds of the sons of liberated areas.
It was in celebration reviewing of the popular legacy as dancing and singing and jumping games on Camels, and many of the performances during the festival celebration.
The mass wedding, which the UAE Red Crescent targeted through it the poor families, the first event of this kind in Hodeidah is held at the expense of the Crescent, as an extension of the leading role of the United Arab Emirates in the human side.
For its part, the company’s Faisal distributed variety gifts of grooms, to contribute of completion the happiness in the west coast.
The organizers of the celebration had begun since more than a week to conduct necessary processing preparations, in a May 22 compound, downtown in Khookha coastal under the supervision of the UAE Red Crescent.
