The leadership of the Arab alliance issued a statement on targeting Emirati ship by Houthi militia in the Bab Al-Mandab.
The Arab alliance said in the statement posted on the Saudi Press Agency that they were able to save the civilians who were on board of the Emirati civilian ship, carrying the wounded and aid relief.
The alliance said in the statement that at 12.30 am. exactly, alliance forces have performed a rescue operation for civilian passengers after targeting their ship (SWIFT), a subsidiary of Emirates National Marine Dredging Company, by Houthi militias.
The Arab Alliance pointed out that the ship was in one of its usual Journey
to and from Aden city transferring medical and relief aid and evacuate the wounded and injured civilians to complete their treatment outside Yemen.
The Arab Alliance’s spokesman said in the statement “this action is a serious indicator and confirms the trend of these militias to carry out terrorist operations targeting the international civil navigation and relief ships in the Bab Al-Mandab”.
The spokesman pointed out that air and naval Alliance forces began to chase and target the attacking boats, which carried out the attack operations. He emphasized that Houthi militia embraced targeting the Emirati ship with missiles attack. Consequently that The Arab Alliance Forces completely destroyed Houthi military boats.
