The UAE Red Crescent provided generous support to kidney hospital, specialist charity in Aza’n city Directorate of Maefah, which oversees the administration Shabwah foundation for development.
Represent the support provided by the authority in providing hospital equipment and medical and a number of modern and advanced devices that help in diagnosis of diseases of the urinary tract and kidneys.. as part of ongoing assistance to the health sector in shabwah.
Mohammed bin Saif Al- muhairi, head of the UAE Red Crescent team in Shabwah confirmed keenness to support the health sector in the province because of paramount importance in alleviation of suffering of low-income citizens and help them to receive treatment at lower costs .. especially that this hospital is a charity that aims to help citizens receive medical and therapeutic services will be provided.
Al-muhairi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the hospital and urged them to exert more effort and speed to complete the remainder of the planned process to run it.
For his part, Dr. Nasser Mathib bin Muslim, Executive Director of Shabwah development foundation and Director of the charity specialist kidney hospital praised for the generous support provided by the UAE Red Crescent in providing the charity hospital in these devices, the modern medical equipment that will help the work of doctors and help in the alleviation of treatment costs on the citizens where the people of the province have to travel for treatment in the governorates of Hadramout or Aden because of the lack of such hardware quality and durability.
He said that, this support provided by the UAE Red Crescent authority is not the first, noting that it had the authority support centers for dialysis maintenance payments from diesel in light of the scarcity of fuel for long periods a result of the Houthi coup on a legitimate Gov.
