The United Arab Emirates continuestorehabilitate infrastructure in the Yemeni cities within its humanitarian efforts in Hope Restore Operation that launched by the Arab Alliance for the reconstruction of the legacy of war. The UAE Red Crescent Society has opened parks in Mansoura and Mualla in Aden within the development projects adopted by the society for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the public parks in the city.
During the opening ceremony, the Aden governorate’s assistant for the directorates’ affairs Abdul Rahman Sheikh, thanked with a lot appreciation the UAE for its efforts for the normalization of life and the situations in the liberated cities from the control of the coup militias. He pointed out that the rehabilitation and maintenance of public parks will contribute to restore hope and life for the citizens who have lived in difficult conditions due to the war on Aden.
For his part, the official of the implementing agency for gardens and parks, Adel Al-Yazidi pointed out that the opening of these two garden of Alnagham in Mualla Directorate and Block 65 in Mansoura comes to coincide with the celebrations of the UAE leadership and people on the occasion of the National Day. He pointed out that the rehabilitation of parks and gardens comes within the service and development projects Series supported by the UAE Red Crescent Society in the liberated provinces. He added ” this is not new to the UAE, which stood by our side and made great sacrifices for the liberation of the city and concrete achievements, which have contributed significantly to the normalization of the situation and alleviated the suffering of the people of Aden by the absurdity of war by the coup militias .
He also added that the rehabilitation work of the gardens includes a comprehensive cleanliness of solid waste, others and restoring electricity and water as well as landscaping, painting and restoration of the park position to add a variety of games for children. Furthermore, the Aden people expressed their happiness and joy for the re-opening of the gardens and parks, pointing out that these development projects contribute to return the smile and joy to them for that they have already suffered from during the war especially for their children who in need for safe space to have fun.
It is worth mentioning that the UAE Red Crescent has opened several parks in Alboraiga and Crater and put the base stone for construction of Alsha’ab park within a complete project for rehabilitation of gardens and parks in all eight districts of Aden as distribution to return Aden to its natural situation of stability to be as an entertainment for people and other visitors.
