THE BROTHERHOOD IN THE LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT OBSTRUCTS THE RIYADH AGREEMENT

Wed., November 10, 2020 / Exclusive

The elements and leaders of the so-called Brotherhood Reform Party continue to obstruct the Riyadh Agreement signed between the Transitional Council and the legitimate government, which includes sensitive positions and ministries that were the main reason for obstructing the reform of the Riyadh agreement.

In the same context; A prominent official in the legitimacy asserted that the Brotherhood’s requirements on legitimacy were the main reason behind delaying the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement with all its clauses, and the advisor in the Ministry of Information, Fahad Talib al-Sharafi confirmed that the Islah Party requires obtaining important ministries in the government to be formed in a clear and open process aimed at thwarting the agreement and, pointing out that the Reform Party”‘Islah” refrains from submitting the names of its candidates to the ministries and exerts pressure in an attempt to bring matters to a dead end and return from the starting point.

On the battle front in Shaqra, the Reform Party militia escalated matters in Abyan governorate and began bombing the southern forces with missiles, to confirm with what is called a room for doubt that these forces are not governmental, but rather militias and gangs affiliated with influential countries such as Turkey, Iran and Qatar.

While the southern forces adhered to the Riyadh agreement and refused to escalate, the official spokesman of the Abyan Front, said that all these acts and violations give the coalition countries a clear picture of the goal and scheme of these militias, and that they are war points, not peace parties and commitment to any agreement.
