UAE Red Crescent Continues To Distribute Relief Aid to Target 3,800 Households In Alinshat And Almodhererin Area in Foah

Yesterday the Emirati Red Crescent Society continued distributing the new batches of food aid to the affected and needy families in the coastal region of Hadhramout within the distribution of food baskets in different districts of Hadramout directorates.

The distribution process targeted 3800 families, in Alinshat and Almodhererin in Foah area within completing the distribution campaign that targeted spending more than 14 000 food parcels for affected and needy families by the previous events in Hadramout which suffered from extremely difficult economic conditions.

Raid Bin Break, the supervisor of the supreme committee for relief in Mukalla, said that the distribution process is still ongoing at the moment in Foah area. He stressed that the team will continue the distribution process in various sprawling area which are densely populated.

For his part, Shawqi Al-Tamimi, the supervisor of the organization’s projects in Hadramout, stressed that this aid had formed positive element for the thousands of families who are affected and suffered from very difficult economic conditions, which in turn, this food aid will ease their ongoing shortage of some of the necessities of their life suffering.

Mr. Al-Tamimi ensured that the distribution process has achieved according to accurate mechanism in delivering food aid to beneficiaries. He stressed that the relief aid formed an important element of the thousands of affected families in very difficult economic conditions. That it eased their suffering due to lack of necessities of life as a result of current conditions in the country.

Several recipients of the food aid expressed their thanks and appreciation for the United Arab Emirates and the team of the Red Crescent Society for their efforts in delivering humanitarian assistance to the beneficiaries. They emphasized that the food baskets came at the right time during the bad conditions of Hadramout people and their needs for a different aids, especially the food ones.
