The governor of Socotra province Ramzi Mahrous praised the efforts exerted by the Kingdom and its keenness to carry out vital and service projects that address the needs of the governorate and its citizens and the support provided by the brothers in the UAE represented by its humanitarian institutions operating in the governorate.
During his meeting today, the governor of Socotra briefed the Director of the UAE Airport Company, Salam Ali Kamal, on the progress of the development of Socotra International Airport with the support of the UAE in its development efforts in the province.
During the meeting, Mahrous reviewed the progress of the military hospital which is being established with the support of the brothers in Saudi Arabia.
The project engineers also heard a detailed explanation of the components of the project, which includes several medical departments.
