Gargash: We Will Make Every Effort to Address the Humanitarian Challenges in Yemen

The Minister of the UAE for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, said that humanitarian efforts in Yemen are continuing and that work will be done with international organizations to distribute relief aid in the occupied and liberated areas of the Iranian Houthi militias.
“The UAE and Saudi Arabia have announced a new initiative to provide food needs to help more,” Gargash told Reuters on Tuesday. The affected groups in Yemen between 10 and 12 million citizens, “stressing that” humanitarian efforts continue. ”
“We will focus on 2.1 million Yemeni children under the age of five, who suffer from acute malnutrition, as well as pregnant women, the elderly and the sick,” he said. “We will make every effort to address these humanitarian challenges.”
“We will work with international organizations and local civil society to distribute food aid in the occupied and liberated areas of the Iranian Houthi militias,” he said.
