The Governor Al-bahsani Met the Commerce Chamber Members in Presence of the Ministerial Committee and Ppresentatives from the Arab Coalition and UAE Red Crescent within the Ramdan Evening Program

Hadhramout Governor and second military region commander brigade Faraj Al-bahsni met the Hadhramout Commerce and Industry chamber, in presence the Ministerial Committee members charged by Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher to address the inventory of damage caused by rain and floods that hit the province during the past few days, and representatives from the Arab coalition forces in Hadhramout and the United Arab of Emirates Red Crescent within the Ramadan evenings program held by the governor during the nights of the holy month of Ramadan.

And during the evening organized by Hadhramout of Commerce and Industry chamber , the Minister of Education and Chairman of survey and inspection Committee on preview Dr. Abdullah Salem Lamlis speak a word, conveyed the greetings of the Republic President and the Prime Minister, discussing through which to review the efforts made by the ministers Committee since the moment its arrived to Al-mukalla city and field tour on Friday afternoon for a number of sites that have been significantly affected by rain and floods that hit the city “Al-mukalla” and directorates of the Hadhramout end of last week and causing significant damage to public and private property and infrastructure and services.

The Committee’s Chairman renewed in his speech emphasized on declaration Dees Al-mukalla as disaster zone, stressing that the Commission’s work is ongoing to strengthen the comprehensive report about the damages in all sectors and report it to Ministers council.

Hadhramout’s Governor praised of the efforts made by the Executive offices concerned to remove the damage in all sectors and the leadership of the military region II and citizens during the last two days, pointing out that the disaster exceeded the expectations and that the local authorities need urgent assistance to help in address damage in roads, bridges, transmission lines, energy networks, water and sanitation and communications, also affected the citizens property, especially in vehicles that are swept away by floods, and houses and shops that were damaged.

He stressed “Al-bahsni” the importance of consolidating efforts and intensify it, and make more of it on all official and popular levels till the province passes the disastrous effects, that resulted from the rains and, calling on the leadership of the Arab coalition and King Salman Center of humanitarian aid and relief and the Red Crescent to effectively contribute in helping Hadhramout during this stage in a continuation of the support and permanent assistance for province’s sons.

Also thrown a word during the evening, by Hadhramout Commerce and Industry chamber made by the President deputy of the Chamber the businessman Fares bin Halabi, confirmed through it the chamber ready to provide all the necessary to contribute in mitigating the effects of catastrophic rains and floods and play an active role in service province’s people l, support efforts of the local authority and the second region, and citizens and all actors in society.
