The UAE Red Crescent Society continued its relief and humanitarian in providing more food aid to families in remote areas and villages that suffer economic conditions are deteriorating, and Al-Heynah Caravan headed to convoy the food aid to the directorate of Ras Hoira, one of Hadramout province directorates, which has been distributed to hundreds of residents of the area, which its population is suffering from power outages and problems with drinking water to be delivered to their homes. In the framework of the commission’s efforts to reach to the poor areas and support people there.
The supervisor of food aid distribution, Shawki al-Tamimi , said that the distribution has under the mechanism of action taken by the commission to ensure the arrival of food aid to beneficiaries. He stressed that the relief assistance provided an important support for needy families in Ras Hoira area. Further more, he Noted that the aid convoy mileage across the bumpy ride for the delivery of the food baskets to those who deserve it.
The residents of Ras Hoira region expressed their thanks and appreciation to the state of the UAE government and people for providing humanitarian assistance, which they said it was very timely, to be given the poor economic conditions in the country.
Therefore the secretary of the governor of Hadramout for relief and reconstruction, Riadh Bin Taleb Alkathiry, expressed his appreciation for the UAE Red Crescent Society and its staff who are seeking to do great efforts to provide help and assistance to the needy in various regions of Yemen.
The distribution process was witnessed by delegates of the UAE Red Crescent, engineer Abdul salam al-Nahdi ,Salim Hassan Barashid and a member of the Supreme Committee for Relief, Marwan Barahman.
