UAE Red Crescent Continues Its Field Efforts Of Relief For Shabwa People

Within the distribution of food aid project to the people of the province of Shabwa, the UAE Red Crescent Society, last Tuesday morning it distributed a new batch of food aid to 1,000 families in the Rodoom District in Shabwa province, included the basic needs of the necessary food supplies, in the framework of the society’s project of humanitarian support, to restore the spirit of life to the city of Shabwa.

The representative of the UAE Red Crescent Abdullah Almsafri, has pointed out that the society continues to distribute food aid to all people of the province, adding that the project came out of concern given by the UAE brothers to lend a helping hand to help them passing the crisis they are experiencing due to the war, which ignited by the coup militias. He also expressed his hope that aid helps in alleviating the suffering of the people. He added that the society is keen on continuing the implementation of these humanitarian projects and getting this aid continuously to reach all needy people in various districts of Shabwa under the circumstances experienced by the country.

In addition the local officials of Rodoom district in Shabwa expressed great appreciation for the UAE Red Crescent Society’s aid, which covers walks of life of the basic humanitarian needs of the population that they need, in the way of the good,donation and development of the UAE.

Furthermore, the local citizenry of the province expressed their thanks and gratitude to the UAE for what they offer of necessary humanitarian aid that has lifted on their shoulders the burdens of daily life difficulty. As well as the citizen ‘Ahmad Ataweel’ thanked UAE for this humanitarian gesture which eased the suffering of his family with the difficult conditions in which they live, especially with the situation of war that prevailed in the region and the country.

Also the citizen woman ‘Om Omar’ gave her sincere thanks and gratitude to the UAE Red Crescent, which has contributed to alleviate the suffering that was experienced, saying that she has a small family whom she sustain and provide and suffers from weak financial income, which is shared with her children to buy food and drink per month.

It is worth mentioning that the Society has launched during the past two weeks, the process of distributing food baskets in 2000 in Bir Ali area, Hura, Jawlet Alarga and Alhamya in Shabwa.
